i.d-Profession 2011

i.d-Profession is i.d’s youngest committee. The committe orginizes network events, speeddates and one day cases. But also portfolio workshops, building a carreer plan and cv checks are options for hte committee.
In short, i.d-Profession is the missing link for the (master)students. We try to bridge the gab between the professional world and the faculty of IDE.

Network events: For our network events you should think about networking with companies (eg. Together with the Alumni association), but also graduation forums,. Every forum will have a certain topic. So it can be “how to start graduating” or “how to find my JMP projectgroup”.
One day cases: A onedaycase will be held in one afternoon. A company showes up with a case which they will present during lunchtime (lunch inluded). After the presentation up to 20 (master)students will work on the problem. There will be presentations in our bar in the end of the afternoon. After the presentations there’s time for a small drink too.
Speeddates: Up to six companies have the oppurtunity to talk with six students for 15 minutes. The students have to send their portfolios and cv’s before. They companies make a selection of the (maximun) best six students. After speeddates there’s room in our bar to have a small drink together.
